Thanks for your help so far BG Everything sounds great, the only thing I’ve been wishing for is the front mic port to work. Any help is much appreciated, this is driving me crazy. Everything else I tried would at best get the card to show up in the system profiler with no input or output pins.

BG-0Jul 22, I have done this and the sound related devices are installed and working apparently. The thing is, I plugged my speakers into Line Out but I did not hear any sound for iTunes or any other app. The sound card could be called “Onboard Audio Codec” or something like that, too most probably is disabled by default if both boards lack an audio device according to windows. This goes the same for my other audio device which is a bose sound Do you already have an account?
